“Crazy Legs” Kylie and I used to run a 5k every year. She even won her age group one time. While we can’t enter races together anymore, we are still united in the race against childhood cancer. Sunday is CURE’s Lauren’s Run & Picnic, and our “Team Bailey, Kylie, and Charlotte” is running for other girls (and boys) fighting cancer. I’d love for you to run with us. 3,285 long days without you. I miss the wonder you found in the most mundane things. I miss the way you loved to make us laugh. I miss the sheer depth of your love. I miss the way you lit up every room you entered. I miss your smile, your voice, your giggle, your hugs. I’m trying to remind myself I am one year closer to seeing you again. But the wait feels very long today, sweet Kylie bug!
